Raw Concrete.
Refined to
Perform.

Mechanical grinding and polishing transforms existing concrete into a durable, low-maintenance, architectural flooring surface. No coatings to peel. No adhesives to fail. Just concrete — refined to the specification your project demands.

What We Do

Polished Concrete for
Commercial Environments
That Demand More.

Polished concrete is one of the most durable, cost-effective, and architecturally refined flooring solutions available for commercial environments. When executed correctly, it delivers a low-maintenance surface with a long service life and a finish that only improves with time.

The process involves mechanically grinding, honing, and polishing the concrete slab through progressively finer diamond tooling — then densifying and sealing the surface to achieve the specified sheen level and long-term hardness. The result is a non-porous, slip-resistant, and highly reflective surface that eliminates the need for coatings, waxes, or strip-and-refinish cycles.

Lay It Right executes concrete polishing to the specification your project demands — from a low-sheen matte finish for industrial environments to a high-gloss architectural surface for retail and commercial interiors. Every project is assessed for slab condition, aggregate exposure level, and finish specification before work begins.

Precision. System. Finish.

Slab Assessment

Concrete quality, flatness, existing coatings, and previous repairs all affect the polishing process and final finish. We assess the slab condition and set realistic finish expectations before committing to a specification.

Progressive Diamond System

Polished concrete is a multi-stage process — not a single pass. We work through a systematic sequence of diamond tooling grits, moving from aggressive cut to refined polish, to achieve the specified aggregate exposure level and sheen.

Densification & Sealing

Chemical densifiers are applied mid-process to harden and seal the concrete surface at the molecular level — increasing surface hardness, reducing porosity, and extending the service life of the finished floor.

WhERE We Install

The Right Surface for the Right Space.

Polished concrete is as at home in a high-volume warehouse as it is in a flagship retail environment. Its performance characteristics make it a practical and architectural choice across a wide range of commercial project types.

FINISH SPECIFICATION

From Matte to Mirror.

Polished concrete is specified by aggregate exposure level (how much of the stone aggregate is revealed) and sheen level (how reflective the final surface is). We install across the full specification range.

How It Works

Grinding, Honing, Polishing. In That Order.

01

Slab Assessment

Concrete condition, flatness, existing coatings, and finish specification review before tooling selection.

02

Grinding & Leveling

Coarse diamond tooling removes surface irregularities, coatings, and opens the concrete pores.

03

Honing & Densification

Progressive grit sequence refines the surface; densifier is applied and absorbed to harden the floor.

04

Polishing & Sealing

Final polishing to specified sheen level, followed by guard/sealer application for long-term performance.
